Selous National Park, Mikumi National Park

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi
Pick up from your hotel and drive to Mikumi National Park in time for lunch. After a late afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Campsite/Mikumi Wildlife Lodge/Mikumi Wildlife Lodge.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
Spend a full day game drive in Mikumi National Park, returning to Mikumi Campsite/Mikumi Wildlife Lodge/Mikumi Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Mikumi to Selous
After breakfast drive with packed lunch to Selous National Park. Arriving at Selous in the late afternoon, relax at Rufiji River Camp. This is a tented camp situated on a high bank overlooking the mighty Rufiji River and the plain beyond. The camp accommodates guests in tents with twin netting beds, private walled bath, running water and comfortable verandah facing the river.
Day 4: Selous by Foot
After breakfast the day begins with the most exciting experience the Selous has to offer. A walking safari which is accompanied by an armed ranger for approximate 1 to 2 hrs. This allows you to get a real feel of the African bush and allows you to see much more, especially birds, insects and vegetation. Return to the camp by vehicle. Lunch at the Camp. After lunch explore the Selous further by game driving in the Selous. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 5: Selous by Boat
After breakfast explore the Rufiji River by boat. The trip provides the excitement of hippos. You will get the opportunity also to see crocodiles on the sandbar and watch animals drinking along the river bank. Lunch at the Camp. After lunch game drive in the Selous. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.
Day 6: Selous to Dar
After breakfast drive back to Dar es salaam with packed lunch arriving early afternoon. Drop off to your hotel or to airport for your onward journey.
